A collection of random thoughts…

Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. Where there is true light, the darkness cannot also be. Restored relationship with God the Father is found through Jesus alone. On-going and being re-shaped clay vessel. Build on solid foundations, not on the sand. Love, hope and faith transcend knowledge, even though knowledge can sometimes be good. History either points forward or back to the Cross. Today and everyday we remember the Cross. The Bible is more than a story or a simple instruction book for life. Swearing / blaspheming – there’s nothing @!*%$(^ wrong with it…

First, some definitions in this context: Swear at: ‘To use abusive, violent, or blasphemous language against; curse.’ Blaspheme: ‘To speak of (God or a sacred entity) in an irreverent, impious manner.’ Of course God is above such things as swearing – but it doesn’t make swearing right or helpful, or mean we have to choose to put up with it. The ‘Biblefresh‘ initiative, which happened in 2011 to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the KJV further caused me to take a fresh look at...
